Rooms Designed for Walkers

For many walkers Drymen is the first overnight stop, on their West Highland Way walk. So if you’re feeling weary and have been struggling getting used to your walking boots then we’ve got the perfect place for you to rest your feet and recharge.

The Clachan Inn has introduced a number of new rooms. All contain long and comfortable individual beds (so no need to fight over the duvet!). We have three twin rooms available, two are priced at £70 per room (shared facilities), with a larger room that has private facilities available for £75.

Check-in is from 2pm and checkout is at 10am. The bathrooms are equipped with a power shower. Prices are room only, with breakfast available from 9am-11.30am (not included in the price of the room). Click here for breakfast menu and prices.

If you want to eat dinner in the pub on your arrival we highly recommend making an advance reservation. No dogs are allowed in rooms.

Just across from The Clachan Inn is the start of the Rob Roy Way and we are not far from the John Muir Way. If you’re walking the West Highland Way you can arrange the services of one the many baggage transfer companies. When you arrive in the village we will point you in the direction if there are items that you wish to buy ahead of the next section of your walk.

We also have a dedicated outdoor space (pictured at top of page) for those staying in our rooms.

We look forward to welcoming you at The Clachan Inn and hope that your night in Drymen is one of the most enjoyable of your holiday.

I had a great stay at the Clachan Inn. Clean, comfy and really attentive staff. Beautiful garden where you can chill and the food was amazing.
